basic information
Aescin powder is the active ingredient extracted from the dried and mature seeds of the horse chestnut plant Tianshishu. It is an important natural botanical medicine recognized internationally.
Aescin powder is one of the extracts derived from the traditional Chinese medicine Salvia. As the extract with the highest content in the extract, sodium aescin has high clinical application value, including anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation, protection of blood vessels, and brain correction. It has biological effects such as dysfunction[, but whether it has anti-tumor effect is seldom studied

Pharmacological action of Aescin powder
Animal experiments have shown that Aescin powder has the functions of anti-inflammatory, anti-exudation, increasing venous tension, improving blood circulation and correcting brain dysfunction. Aescin powder has obvious inhibitory effect on experimental toe edema caused by protein, carrageenan and glucan, and granuloma caused by cotton ball or formaldehyde filter paper. It has obvious protective effect on animals caused by cerebral edema such as carbon monoxide. Experiments show that administration 16 hours before the occurrence of edema has the highest inhibitory rate on inflammation or swelling, and its inhibitory effect on rat egg white arthritis is 4-5 times that of hydrocortisone, and it has the highest effect on acute exudation and swelling of rat croton oil. Histamine phosphate-induced increase in capillary permeability in mice has a significant inhibitory effect. The lymphatic permeability of hind limbs of rabbits is increased, and it has the effect of increasing the tension of isolated human veins. Intravenous administration has a constricting effect on the mesenteric veins of rats and frogs, and can significantly improve local blood circulation.
Indications for Aescin powder
1. Treatment of lumbar disc herniation
2. Treatment of pulmonary encephalopathy
3. Treatment of neonatal scleredema
4. The application of Aescin powder aescin is still being explored —- the treatment of cancer and the inhibition of tumor metastasis
